Take a Deep Breath

Take a deep breath in and let go of stress with each exhale. Slow, deep breaths can help calm the mind and body. #BreatheForCalm

Breathing exercises can help reduce stress and anxiety, as well as lower blood pressure and heart rate. When we feel stressed, our breathing can become shallow and rapid, contributing to feelings of panic or overwhelm. By taking deep, intentional breaths, we can activate the body’s relaxation response, which can help us feel more calm and centered.

To practice deep breathing, find a comfortable seated position and inhale deeply through your nose, filling your belly with air. Hold for a few seconds, then exhale slowly through your mouth, letting go of any tension or worry with each breath out. Repeat this for a few minutes whenever you need a moment of calm.
