Slow Down and Breathe
Slow down and breathe deeply to quiet the mind and promote relaxation. #DeepBreathing
Breathing exercises can also be helpful for promoting better sleep. When we’re feeling stressed or anxious, it can be difficult to wind down and relax at the end of the day. Deep breathing can help quiet the mind and ease the body into a more restful state, preparing us for a good night’s sleep.
To use deep breathing for better sleep, try incorporating it into your bedtime routine. You might do this while lying in bed, or while sitting in a comfortable chair. Take a few deep breaths, focusing on relaxing your body with each exhale. As you continue to breathe deeply, visualize yourself sinking into a peaceful, restful state.
